Festina Lente!!

I emphasize that "Rome is the most magnetizable city of the world".
I'd like to go there at least once a year.

Today, I went to Rome in the book, again.
Because  I  read this book, which  I had got at bookshop in Akihabara , in the train leaving for home.

This book contains a lot of photos and tips for those who are eager to have the knowledge of Rome.
I can recommend this book if you have interest in Rome slightly.

I purchased this book yesterday.
It arrived while I was finding a slight different point on an album which was edited by photographer's self!I could scarcely wait for gazing at that fascinating book.
But, I could finish that work earlier than I thought, and immediately I started reading thoroughly it .
There're a lot of fabulous pictures which were as if viewed from bird's eyes.
And there're some rare pictures taken in probably late 1960. Because it's unbelievably, a big ugly street was there on the Foro Romano that was filled up by government of Mussolini.
Anyway, I surely recommend to you this book if you have any interest in Rome.

This is a great book which contains a lot of photos .Those pictures were taken from sky point of view.    
I had wondered how to get this book for long years.  But I couldn't.
Today, I coincidentally found out it in an Amazon. I 'll be able to get it tomorrow!!
I can't wait !!

This book is titled "Toshi Rome" in Japanese, that was published by Iwanami in 1998.   

There are many ancient gods and famous historic Roman person in this Temple which is called Panthenon.
I should have prayed each god in this temple. I would like go there again as soon as possible.

Today; I got special invitation card that said they will have an exhibition of new items from Italy.
And I'll be able to go there much more cheaper because I can join the special tour package.
Although it is too lucky for me, I won't be able to take this opportunity. I should do a thorough review of my company.

13:25 on yesterday, my flight took off the Heathrow Airport on time.
It took about 11 and a half hours from London to Narita, and it was a first experience for me to be midnight flight.

I almost lost myself and admired beautiful skyline beyond the window.
Sudden then. I could see the red half-moon on it.
That was terrific enough to impact something moving my heart.
You must be find at it lower right. And you might feel from it something abstract as marvelous as I felt.

That Moon was given as a present for me from every people.

I should come back to my job as quickly as possible.
Tomorrow, I shall return to my job.

Today, I went to the Colosseo and Foro Romano.
It was raining, when I woke up in the morning. I almost gave up going there and I had breakfast as last opportunity.
But, weather was changing to be fine during I was eating it !

I could visit to the Foro Romano and the Colosseo, again.
It was the best miracle for me to gaze at them, unexpectedly.

I intended to go to Firenze today before I left from Japan.
But yesterday, my business had completely landed on that will bring about good news for our customers.

Then, I went to Trastevere area across the Tevere river, instead.I heard that area still have remained the Middle Ages color, and I thought I wanted to go there someday.

It was by far the miracle time for me to take a walk around there.
I was wondering if  I'm in the dream.  But that iss real experience for me.

This trip will reach to the end in a day.
So, I would go to Colosseo and Foro Romano, or Vatican museum once more.

Today; I was negotiating to buy a lot of photo albums at a stationery shop from 10:30 to 12:30.
That shop's name is "IL PAPILO in Firenze" well known on the world.
I tried picturing abstract marble pattern onto paper which will become a cover of our photo albums.
It's much more precious experience for me to impact myself.
Although many couples would like new type albums we never stop supplying hand made albums for minority couples preferring traditional style.
In the afternoon;
I bought some goods for my family and friends !

And after that, I went to gaze at many ancient statues at the Museo Nazionale Romano.
Especially, I wanted to meet Augustus Caesar ; Octavian.

Today;
I was walking in the Rome all day.
I started walking from Piazza di Popolo at 9:00. It was already hot.
But, Italy's weather never has humid, we can escape easier in shadow zone of something.

Today;

I'd been in the Musei Capitolini which is beside the Foro Romanao that's well known as Ancient Roman Empire city almost a day.

I thought that here is the most interesting museum of the Rome. But, also I would like to go other museums of the Rome that I've never visited.

And unexpectedly, I could see couples taking photos of wedding at there. Very short time, I and they could talk to each other.
I also said them "Congratulations for your wedding "

If you'll visit to Rome, I recommend this museum, this is by far the most prominent museum of the world.

My fright depart time was 6:25 A.M..
Then, I had to go to "Haneda" Tokyo international airport at midnight.

I had been "Sakura" lounge during a waiting time, and I enjoyed eating many types of meals and drinks, also seeing night view.
But it was absolutely boring time.

At the dawn time, I could see beautiful sunrise and unexpectedly I could see just in front of me an airplane that I'll board on.

Anyway, I boarded on that airplane, and it took off just on time.
The weather was very fine. I could see Mt. Fuji and "Tokyo sky tree" beyond the "Rolls-Royce" jet engine. 
 

I had to go to London to connect other airplane. It's much more expensive for me to use business class. But that route is very cheaper than direct flight.
If you would like to go to long distance destination and you have painful backache, head stiffness, or stiffness of the shoulders, try a Britiish Airways.
Heathrow Airport's lounge is really marvelous. We can take shower, and be able to eat everything we need.

But this time, my connecting flight's gate information and check in time delayed without any announcing for about 20 minutes.
It made us uneasy.

At last, I arrived in Rome, again.
It took just 22 hours leaving my house.

Now, I start to go to Italy.
I've just left from my home.
I'll reach to Italy in a day.
I never know why Italy is calling to me so strongly.
I thought I'll have to stand there by my own foot.

Today;
I packed my suitcase for next trip.
It was much more difficult than I expected.
Therefore, I had to give up taking a few things.

This time. My visiting to Rome is without SLR camera. I would like to enjoy seeing own two eyes directly.

Nevertheless, I'll take a tiny compact camera, instead.

I've ever taken "Tram" at Rome only once.
It went along the Rome city to the Vatican city.
Sometimes, I remembered sitting down and viewing ancient buildings beyond the window. That small train running slowly let me calm.
I think I should have enjoyed that experience.

Next month, I can enjoy getting on that train several times, because I'll stay at the hotel which is beside of Vatican.

I thought I should have watched each of museum and ancient cities more carefully though last time I stayed there 10 days.

For 8 days in next month, I'll go to Italy to study and business.
Whenever I would like to go somewhere, I almost do alone.

I think nobody knows me and I don't know anyone.
That situation makes me much more sensitive. No doubt I will be able to discover something wonderful.

Everyone has home town, don't we?
Rome ! my mind's home town is Rome.
I hope you would understand my thought.
Anyway I'll go by myself.

Recently, I thought I could find real precious things.
Maybe, it's easy to find but I think it's difficult for ordinary people to do.
Therefore. I would like to challenge to hard situation.

So, I must continue to try my dream that makes smile on many couple's faces.
I'm going to take photos of wedding day by analog camera again from this fall.

Before it, I'll go to Rome to feel something wonderful.
Many Italian people enjoy living as so-called "Slow life".
But, most of them aren't so rich. I should learn directly from them.

Unbelievable !! I still haven't gotten this book which I ordered to Amazon about  2 weeks ago.

I've been waiting for that with pleasure till now.
But I couldn't get it even after long period.
What was the matter with it ? I couldn't guess it.

A mail from Amazon was sent me yesterday.
That said, "You can cancel this order, as you like".

I thought it was irresponsible statement. Correctly, they didn't promise me to delivery it in time, they said, "We'll do best efforts !" What a convenient phrase it is as irresponsible ones!! I'd rather say to them, instead. "You had better keep your word, or apologize to customers at first ; otherwise you'll end up losing face".

Gaius Julius Caesar Octavianus Augustus was the first Emperor of the Roman Empire. His father in law is more famous historic hero than him.
His father is well-known for "Julius Caesar " which were written by Shakespear.
I also admire for Julius Caesar who always won against many enemies and himself.
But, I have great respect for Emperor Augustus rather than Julius Caesar.   　

I should get back to subject.
The region of Augustus was over a long time of years. That was over 40 years!!
He established the foundation for modern national style while his region.

He had never won the war by himself.
But, he had two friends who both had super brain.
One of them, Agrippa was ingenious on war.
His historic symbol is Pantheon that  still is there, surprisingly.
And other friend, Maecenas intelligently used diplomacy as the negotiator.
Patroness action is the greatest triumph of him, I think.
Just now, the fountain pen of homage to him by Mont Blank is on sale.
But, But, it's expensive to me.

Yesterday;
I ordered it. It'll arrive to me in 10 day.  

Strictly speaking, I should have said "I'm in Rome, now." and  "I'm going to depart on flight BA007 from Leonardo da Vinci airport".

But as it is, I am in Japan.

Owing to huge earthquake, I canceled to business trip.
This business trip contained an important meeting that trade of ours items.
I'll go to there on next chance and I have to win a firm contract.

ヨーロッパ出張が一週間後に迫った。決断はギリギリまで保留することにした。

In fact....I have  phobia of airplane.
Until two years ago, I thought I never take an airplane.
But last spring, I had to take airplane in job.That time, I went to Slovenia, Venice and Rome. That visit is unforgettable for me.

After 6 months, I visited Rome again.

Then, I'll go to Rome in 20 days.  I intend to go to Firenze, Venice, and Republic of San Marino.　No doubt, I'll be able to find something wonderful.

Good evening, everyone !!  Do you know "Ice man" ?

I'm going to Italy from 28th March to 5th April.
And I'm intending to go to "South Tyrol Museum" at Bolzano in north of Italy.

That museum has the "Ice man" who was discovered at deep Alpine glacier in 1991.
Surprisingly, "Ice man" had slept nearly 5000 years in glacier.
Emperor Augustus was born after "Ice man" slept 3000 years.

I wish I 'll be able to meet him.
I guess, "Yes I can" !!

色々と仕事をかたづけていたら、もう1月も中旬過ぎなのですね〜(*_*)
本当に早いです。

前回は一日千秋の思いでイタリアを夢見ていましたが、今回は見る見る近づいてきた感があります。
そろそろ、準備をしなければなりませんね。

　久しぶりに長いお休みを頂きましたイースターエッグですが、1/6から新年の営業を始めさせて頂きます。毎年恒例の"思いつき"キャンペーンも考案中ですが、3月出張を視野にローマ＆イタリア関連となりそうです。素晴らしいキャンペーンを考えておりますので、ご興味のあるカップの皆さん、そんなではないという皆さんもこのブログを是非チェックしていて下さいね。良いことあるかも知れません(^^)

Today;
I'd actually studied English all in a day.
But, unfortunately I couldn't remember many things.
Rome wasn't built in a day !!

イタリア行きまであと3ヶ月！！
何かと忙しいようで何も手につかず、特に英語が進みません・・・

今回の訪問は、様々な困難が予想されています。まず寒さ。今年のヨーロッパの寒さは半端無いらしく、それだけでもう充分勘弁なのですが、さらにメインに訪れる町は一番近い駅からでも20キロ以上あり、しかもその駅自体とんでもない田舎に位置するらしいのです、、、(T_T)
脳裏をかすめるのは、雪吹きすさぶ駅舎・・・茫然と立ち尽くす凍てつく自分。

で、考えたのがレンタカー　(^^)
良いね、良いね、良いね！！　ナイス・アイディアと思ったのですが、イタリア人の運転環境に何処まで対応できるのか　？なにせ六本木のタクシーさえ優雅に見えるローマの交通ルール。
地方はどうなのだろう。ちょっと調べてみよう。現地で自動車事故だけは避けたい。

今朝、無事に帰国しました。留守の間、皆様にはご迷惑・ご不便をおかけしました。
また留守中、会社を切り盛りしてくれた各役員・フォトグラファーには感謝に堪えません。
今回で、ローマ紀行も最終回。明日からは仕事モードに完全に戻ります。

夜中の1時、あまりの寒さにロンドンシティから空港に戻りラウンジに避難！！　と思ったら、そう甘くなく5時まで一般ロビーでひたすら眠さと寒さに耐えました。
　そして5時。逃げるようにラウンジへ。ヒースローのブリティッシュ・ラウンジは驚くほど快適。
朝食と昼食はここで完全に賄えました。しかも全てができたてほやほやの美味しい物ばかり。

とはいえ、フライトは13:40。ここで8時間さらに待つ訳です。これは、、、、辛すぎる時間でした。
そこで、ヴェネツィアの「一人ゴンドラ」をyoutubeにアップしてみました。電源も無線LANもフリーですので助かりました。このエンコードとアップロードに約１時間。普段なら絶対にやらないこの作業。
つまらない物ですが、良かったら見てあげて下さい。

　我が人生かつて無い強行軍についに足腰が悲鳴を上げ、近所のタイ式マッサージ店を紹介してもらう。
　本当なら今日のスケジュールはそこに行って、一日ゴロゴロウダウダでした！！・・・・・
　が、快晴がそれを許さない。と言う訳で、もう何度目だのココロッセオ駅。でも今日の目的はコロッセオがではなく、少しだけ心残りだったアウグストゥスの家。

そういえば、ローマの地下鉄・車内は何時もこんな風に好きなことを好きにしている人が溢れています。日本人は堅苦しいと、彼らが言う訳ですよ(^_^)

さて、アウグストゥス帝の邸宅蹟はパラティーノの丘の上。近い入り口から入場。

痛い足に「もうすこしだ」と言い聞かせ、丘を登ること10分。もうすぐそこに・・・・・
ところが、まさかの火曜日クローズ・・・・(T_T)　先日のアテンションを良く読んでおくのだった。。

アウグストゥス帝の家の隣には、妻リヴィアの住居跡があります。中は風化防止のため、入場はおろか、紫外線カットのフィルム越しにしか見られません。

でも良いこともひとつ。先日見損なったフェルネジアーニ庭園のテラスからの風景。フォロロマーノを完全に一望。

この風景は一生忘れない。

帰りは、沢山の馬車を横目に。

地下鉄の流し撮りをして。。。いよいよタイ式マッサージに。ソフトなマッサージについうとうと。
しかし、この疲労は簡単には取れないみたい　(‥;)　　熱めのバスに入ろう。

帰り道、宿のすぐ近くに在りすぎて、何時も外から見るだけだった「サンタ・マリア・マッジョーレ大聖堂」に立ち寄る。近づくとかなり大きい。実際知らなかったが、ローマ四大教会の一つに数えられるらしい。

後方のクーポラに施されたモザイク「マリアの戴冠」も何とか写った！！

地下にも礼拝堂が！！

今日はローマに来て初めての曇り。朝10時、予定通りサンピエトロ大聖堂に。しかし、ディズニーランドを優に超える行列。これが苦手な私はパスを覚悟・・・・しかし思いとどまり、まずはB&Bのマキさんに情報提供を求め電話。アドヴァイスは、行列を嫌うなら午後2時過ぎに行った方が良い、ただし聖堂内をゆっくり見て回るのはその分少なくなる。究極の選択だが、この状態だと3時間は並びそう。

きびすを返し時間つぶしにカピトリーノの丘に登る。広場はミケランジェロの設計。

そしてヴィットリオ・エマヌーレ記念館の屋上に登る。ここからローマ市内を一望。

眼下にはカエサルのフォロ。少し先にはコロッセオが。

そしてヴェネツィア広場。近場のBARで昼食を摂り、気を取り直して出直し。

今度はあっさり15分くらいで無事ヴァチカンに入国。

まずは、クーポラの一番上の展望台へ。
ここまで（富士山で言うところの五合目くらい）は歩きで登るより2ユーロ高いけどエレベーターで。

クーポラ内部に入ると、大聖堂が真下に！！高所恐怖症の人は真面目に恐いかも。
ここから内部の階段を約220段登る。連日の長距離歩行で既に悲鳴を上げている足腰に喝を入れ、気合いで登り切る。甲斐はありました(^_^)

こちらのカップルは、新婚旅行中。　「おめでとうございます！！」短い時間ですっかり盛り上がり、メールアドレス交換を。まずはこちらのブログに載せておきます＼(^_^)/

時間も押し迫り、急いで聖堂内に移動。
この空間はベルニーニ贔屓がありあり！！もちろん才能あってのもの。

ブロンズの天蓋、聖ペテロの像（右）、中央の聖ペテロの椅子。いやすごい。

その他にも数え切れない、覚えきれないほどの沢山の絵画や彫刻、ブロンズ像などがそこかしこに。

クーポラもいくつあるかさえ解らないほど。

平日のこの時間でも人がこんなに沢山。殆どは私同様観光客の様、、、すごすぎる。

陽も暮れかけ、十二分に堪能したので外に出る。噂のスイス衛兵隊を発見。
本当に微動だにしない。ここで5，6分写真を撮ったりしたが、彼らが動いたのは聖堂職員らしき人が帰るときに敬礼をした一度だけ。すごい筋肉なのだろうな！！

歩いてバス停に向かう。振り返るとすっかり陽が暮れ、そこにはライトアップされたサンピエトロ聖堂。

コロッセオがライトアップされているとの情報を得て、急遽地下鉄に乗って見てきました。
さすがに夜の地下鉄B線・テルミニ駅は怪しさ満載です。防具を持って行きました。

この角度が一番コロッセオらしさを出していると思うのだけど、今日は月がとても綺麗だったので、色々試行。
ここは20mm f1.7の出番。

開放値f4の7-14にはカーボンの防具一脚が役に立ちました。

ドムス・アウラに登って、1秒シャッターの連続。どうにかギリギリ止まった内の1枚。

さて真面目な話。
地下鉄・テルミニ駅で、いまいち使い方が解らない券売機に戸惑う私。親切に手伝ってくれたトルコ系（？）の30代とおぼしき男性が、「You must pay me 2 Euros !! 」ですと！！　当然　「NO」と答えると、すごんできましたが、防具をシャキーンと引き伸ばすとすたこら逃走。その隙に私も逃走。まさか本当に出番がある とは思いませんでした。

彼らの名誉のために1枚、こちらは光るアクリル製品の押し売りやさんに撮ってもらいました。
「だから買って」としつこくつきまとわれましたが、「必要ないのだから悪いけど。」と説明。
彼はまだ正統だと思います。

さすがに昨日の疲れが残って、今朝は10時ころ起床。予定では一日のんびりするつもりでしたが、ピーカンの天気がそれを許さない。と言う訳で、またこの扉から外に出て、まずはトレビの泉に向かってみる。
バスはお決まりの40番・急行。ちなみに64番は各駅停車。日本の電車と思えばいいかも。

最寄り停留所で降り歩くと、すぐクイリナーレの丘の上、大統領宮殿（クイリナーレ宮）に。
ここのオリベスクはアウグストゥス廟にあった物らしい。中に収蔵されている美術品の見学も自由だったが、とにかく町そのものが美術館のようで、、、、見切れない。残念だがスルー。

クイリナーレ宮から歩くこと5分足らずで、トレビの泉が出現。日曜と言うこともあり、有り得ないほどの混雑ぶり。昨日のベネツィアもすごかったけど、ここはそれ以上の人口密度。。。。

　そんなこんなで自分の居場所を探していると、遠くからただならぬ歓声が。こちらに来て毎日のように歓声を聞いているので、すっかり喧噪には慣れっこなのですが、雰囲気が違う！！　　ビンゴ！！　　やはり結婚式　(^_^)

本当に気さくな友人達に囲まれ、そこには幸福な空気が！！

結婚しきってやっぱり良いな。世界中何処でも、みんなこんな笑顔は一緒。
もっと撮りたかったけど、彼らはこれからみんなでカプリに行くそうで、、、、うーん。いいなぁ。

と言う訳で、第2の目的地「イル・パティオ」へ。

途中に出くわしたオリベスクともまた違う、円柱状の建造物。何かと思えば、哲人皇帝「マルクス・アウレリアス」の記念柱。柱には、ゲルマニア・サルマティアでの戦記がレリーフに。

途中またしても、誘惑が・・・つい立ち寄ってしまったサンティニャツィオ教会

実はここにクーポラは無く、それらしく遠近法を利用したいわばだまし絵。資金難だった当時、苦肉の策として描かれたとのこと。それはさておき、天井画はまた最高

寄り道もいい加減にして、イル・パティオにGO！！

パンテオンの北、100メートルの所に位置するイル・パティオローマ店。
フィレンツェの手漉き高級紙の直売店で、前回はヴェネツィアで買いましたが今回はこちらで。
たくさんお土産を購入。

手仕事をキッチリと追い求めて行くこと、その正当性と普遍性を改めて痛感。イースターエッグもこうありたい。と心新たに(^0_0^)

締め括りは、ナヴォーナ広場。ここも日曜日とあって大混雑。

かなり早めの夕食をとる事に。ウェイターのヴィンチェントはとっても気さく。私を見るなり「カルボナーラ、アンド？」と言う具合。毎回頼んでいれば、そうなりますかね。今日のサービスはほろにがレンジジュース。

これがそのカルボナーラ。ペンネではないですが、日本人的にはこっちの方がなじみ。味は真面目に美味しい。うーん。本当に美味しい。サンタンジェロやこの近くのジェラードも美味しかったけど、これは本当に帰国したくなくなるほど！！

食後の珈琲。飾り気はないけど、これも美味しい。とにかくサービスの良いお店でひとりひとりのウェイターがみな、フレンドリーかつ紳士的。手本にして行こう。

改めて、四大河の噴水。ラングドン教授が手柄を立てた場所。

後ろが身を引かれながら反対側から、ナヴォーナ広場を出る。振り向きざまに一枚。
今回のトリップでもう来ることはない。

昨日一昨日と歩き通しだったので、今日は少しスローに行こうと思い昨日の夜は眠りにつきました・・・・が、起きるとこんなに良い天気！！どうすごそうか考えること数分、頭の中のスケジュールは、表題の通り。最低限の身支度を調え出発。

地下鉄A線テルミニ駅は工事中で入り口がすごく複雑になっているので、隣のレプッブリカ駅を使います。名前の通り、共和国広場にあります。

昨日は遅くまで起きていたのでのんびり寝ようと思って、、、でも起きたら5時でした。
嫌な感じの音、外はあいにくの雨。仕方ない。今日は教会廻りをしようと決めて、二度寝しました。ところが11時に起きてみるとピーカン！！
猛ダッシュでコロッセオに！！地下鉄B線は前回同様、一昔前のニューヨーク地下鉄並みの険悪なムード。
　ここも入場券購入の長蛇の列。でもローマ・パスのおかげでまったく待ち時間無しで無事入場。
夢にまで見たコロッセオ。良い歴史だけがある場所ではないけど、それは悪しき過去と言うことでとにかくこの大きさには圧倒されます。これを2000年前に作ったローマ人には驚かされます。（日本は弥生時代？）

とにかく、この大きさと優美さには驚嘆するばかりです。半ば廃墟然としていますが、構造が頑強なのでしょう。まだまだ持ちそうな気がします。

下層階に降りると地下構造がよく見えます。ここから手動のエレベーターを使って、剣闘士や猛獣等がせり上がる仕組みになっていたようです。

通路は、改修されていて歩きやすいのですが、あちらこちらに崩落したと思われる煉瓦や柱が「とりあえず置いておく」と言った感じで、無造作に置かれています。

ともあれ、2時間ほど見学し、ようやく溜飲をおろすことが出来ました(‥;)

そのままフォロロマーノに突入。しかし嘗めていました。この広さとアップダウンの連続。この写真は聖なる道から見た、パラティーノの丘。歴代皇帝や貴族達が好んで住んだ丘です。なるほど一等地でした。

と、在る一角にカエサルのお墓が在ります。真偽の程は解りませんが、暗殺以来2000年以上、献花が絶えたことがないそうです。

いよいよ、アウグストゥスの家に行きましたが、残念公開時間を超えてしまっていたため、シャットアウトです。でも充分に満足です。

フォロロマーノの本当に最終地点、セヴェルス邸宮殿の跡地まで来ました。遠くに見えるのはカラカラ浴場跡です。時間と余力があれば行ってみてこようと思います。既に足腰がガタガタです(>_<)

しかし、それでも見たい、行きたい欲が後押ししてくれました。これが、ヴィットリエ・エマヌエーレＩＩ記念館。事実上現代のイタリアを作ったとも言える人で、故に建物自体は1世紀ほどの歴史しか在りません。でもここも、「ローマの休日」で、しっかり出てくるのですよね。
さらに歩き、ついにパンテオンに。

半年前は向かって右半分の改修工事をしていましたが、 今回は左側でした(T_T)
アウグストゥスの右腕、アグリッパが作ったと言われるパンテオン。紀元前27年製です。

パンテオンの面白いところは天井にぽっかりと空いた穴。これで良く2000年以上、実用に耐えているよな。と、妙に感心。

オーストラリア人婦婦に英語で写真を撮って欲しいと頼まれ、代わりに執ってもらいました。この会話は殆ど不自由しなかったです。かなり自信がつきました！！

ここは、セント・マリア・ソプラ・ミネルヴァ教会。ミケランジェロが普通に置かれていることで有名です。
そして、深い碧の天井。そこに描かれた絵画。調度品。どれも惚れ惚れするものばかり。でも6時半きっかりに、「クローズ」の声と共に、電気が一斉に消え・・・もうすこし見たかったな。

夕飯の時間になったので、そのままさらに歩きナヴォーナ広場へ。昨日食べたお店のパスタが忘れられず再び！！お店の人も覚えていてくれて、白ワインをサービスしてくれました。飲めないのになぁ・・・・と困りましたが、一生懸命説明してくれる彼に敬意を表して一杯飲みました。あっと言う目に、顔はほてり、意識はぼんやり。カルボナーラが本当に美味しいお店でした。

そのウェイターさんが、四大河の噴水をバックに写真を撮ってあげるというので撮ってもらいました。
このあと、バスに乗りテルミニ駅から酔ったまま帰ってきました。今やっと酔いから覚めました。

今、ローマは13日の18時過ぎです。
日本出国前に現地の天気予報を見たら、ヴァチカン美術館を予約していた15日は晴れ、13日は雨でした。急遽予約を変更し13日の今日、行ってきました。ちなみに事前予約をしないと、チケット購入に必ず2位時間は並ぶそうです。予約をしておいて良かった。。。私はその脇を通ってすんなり入場。

5ヶ月ぶりのヴァチカン。本当に素晴らしすぎて言葉に出来ません。
で、下手な写真をたくさん撮りました。

ローマ帝国美術館ではありませんから、その他の展示も目を見張り、心清らか何されるものばかりです。特に天井に描かれた宗教画は、宗旨を問わず溜息ものです。壁や天井そのものが美術品なここ。考えてみれば面白いです。

システィナ礼拝堂。ここでの撮影は殆どが禁止ですが、今日は「ノーフォト」ではなく、何度か「ノーフラッシュ！！」と言っていたので、ノーフラッシュですかさず撮りました。

ともあれ、気がつけばあっと言う間に6時間近くの時間が。。。。足が痛くならなければもっと居たかった。帰りはお決まりの二重螺旋階段を下りて・・・・

今度はいつ来られるかまるで解りませんが、思い残すことなく見ることが出来ました。
チャンスをくれたお客さま、スタッフのみんな、そして家族に本当に感謝します。

日本時間10:45発のBA機に乗り、さっきヒースローに着きました。

　旅行用のウェストポーチを買いました。イタリアひとり旅なので、防犯性に優れた物を選んだつもりですが、気を引き締めていこうと思います！！　結構大きいですよ。

明るいレンズが欲しい。先日ニコンで借りた24ミリF1.4の表現の幅の広さ、そして暗い場所での威力を思い知って、その昔全て単焦点で撮っていたフィルム全盛時代を思い出しました。

当時はISO800までが実用の限度。それ以上は本当にエマージェンシーだったので、明るいレンズが必須だったのです。勿論今でも手焼きの場合はそうなのですが、逆にF2.8を当たり前と受け止め、それ以上明るいレンズは本当に必要なときだけ使うと言うスタイルが染みついてしまったようです。
いけません！！この点、反省です。

さて、今回何故そうまで明るいレンズにこだわるのでしょうか？
プライベートで使うカメラに答えがあります。すっかりお気に入りのE-P1。ただし、これはフォーサーズ規格なため、物理的に高感度時の画質は仕事用に敵わないのです。それを補うのが明るいレンズ。

うーん。20ミリの1.7・・・・17ミリとファインダーとアダプターを下取りにすれば、追金無しで行けそうだ。

ローマでの滞在先が決まりました。テルミニ駅隣のB&Bモシ・モシさんです。
決め手は、イタリア人のご主人と日本人の奥さんが経営していると言うこと。色々な情報での評判が良いこと。インターネットが24時間へ館繋がること、そして駅から徒歩1分と言うこと。

ということでいよいよ、具体化してきたローマ出張。
パンテオンの横のイル・パティオにも行ってきますよ。ヴェネツィアで作ったお得意様カードを二度と使う機会はないだろうなぁ・・・・と思っていましたが！！
